1. Why is this free? 

Praying For Students is sponsored by the National Prayer Room. Its mission is to encourage and mobilize prayer in the lives of believers. The National Prayer Room and other sponsors have made this program possible. (For more information about the National Prayer Room, go to

2. I am concerned about the privacy of my students.

First, our privacy statement strictly prohibits lending, selling, or giving personal information to any other organization. Also, we only ask for the student’s first name. (This is used to personalize the prayer reminders.) Student’s email addresses are not required.

3. I signed up, but I haven’t received any prayer reminders. 

One of two things has happened. 1.) It will take up to 24 hours for you to receive your first email. If you register after 6 PM Central time zone (US), you will not receive the first email until 24 hours later.  2.) The email has been caught in your spam or junk mail filter. You can correct this by checking your junk folder and marking the email as “not junk.” You can also add to your address or contact list.

4. Why do you ask for first names?

We use the first names to personalize the email prayer reminders.
